The reaction was allowed to stir at 105 C for 30 min – 12 h, then cooled to room temperature. To the reaction was added water (15 mL). The resulting mixture was sonicated to give an orange -red slurry. After filtration, the solid was washed with water (75 mL) and dried under high vacuum to yield the corresponding product as a red fine powder (71-92%):
