The catalyst is well characterized by various analytical techniques. The reaction can be completed using visible light more smoothly without the requirement of any other external sources of energy. The Cu2O NPs@ gC(3)N(4) material is found to be a more efficient, active, and reusable catalyst for the synthesis of ynone, aminoindolizines, and pyrrolo [1, 2-a] quinoline. Green chemistry metrics such as atom economy (AE) and E-factor are calculated for the reaction, and it is found that the present protocol is more facile and follows the green chemistry principles.
